PRESENTLY - - I continue to play solo lead guitar during some dinner parties, playing lead guitar on the full songs , standard instrumental tunes (some Bollywood and some American songs ) such as : Samba Pati (Carlos Santana), La Bamba (Los Lobos), We belong together (Ritchie Valens), Neele Neele Ambar Par, Tu Hai Wahi, Tujedheko, Oh Mere Sona, Churaliya and more... and I may even sing a  tune (for fun since I'm not a singer) from the 1950s such as Under The Board walk, and Stand By Me, while I strum the guitar as I recently did  in August 2022 at a birthday dinner....Fisal

1990S INDY SCENE - FISAL ALLY WRITING & RECORDING ORIGINAL SONGS/MUSIC,.  while working as a computer programmer. (Photo on the left is from the 1990s). I play lead guitar, rhythm guitar, bass, Keyboards/piano, harmonica, some drums. I'm not a trained musician. I'm mostly self taught. For example I learned to play bass, Keyboards/piano, harmonica and some drums on my own. I can remember at age 17, where I would listen to songs over and over and over and try to pick out the lead guitar etc... by ear. I often use a drum machine (on the keyboard / drum tracks) in my home studio which is just a room or anywhere, even a stairwell) but in the professional studio, a live drummer plays. My keyboard is also used for orchestras and other voices, such as brass. John Cooke played sitar on his keyboard while recording. At Powersound, John played Keyboards on the songs, such as True Love, A Kiss Goodnight, New Clear Society etc...while Phil Anderson played bass. In the recording below for New Clear Society, I played keyboards on the track at him home studio.

I had my first few guitar lessons at age 12 while living on Weston Rd. in Toronto from a fellow Guyanese, Tony R, of Portuguese descendant who lived in the building. I  became serious of playing the guitar around age 14 / 15. Tony was teaching me to play the guitar such as some chords, and unfortunately we had to move to Edmonton due to my dad's work - back home for me is not just Guyana (South America) but also Weston Rd. in Toronto. And guess what I brought back with me to Edmonton as a 12 year old on the train with my family - I brought back Tony's old wooden red guitar, as Tony had a new electric guitar. we were living on Weston Road in Toronto - NOTHING BUT GOOD MEMORIES for the time there.  BUT IT'S BECAUSE OF TONY I PLAY THE GUITAR TODAY. I was also an artist at age 13 with my drawings, but at age 15 I began working after school and stopped drawing, and the guitar became more important in my life than drawing.

In the 1990s, I played music with many people at different times. I even played lead guitar with one of the top Indian bands in Edmonton for about a year as I wanted to learn some Indian music, getting back to my roots. We played around the city, at functions, at the legislative grounds in Vancouver. 

It was time for me to redo some of my home recordings. I remember driving through the backalley downtown to Beta Sound Records to meet with the owner Gary Koliger to do some recordings as at that time I had some money to do it. He said that on the recordings that he would not use any of my players that he was bringing drummer, Tim Lent and his bass player. Gary Koliger of Beta Studios is an amazing guitarist and producer and helped shaped the song 'Party Till We Feel Alright' and Lisa' as he produced the two songs when I was at Beta Studios - just an amazing producer, musician and businessman.  I have different versions of all of my songs. A Portuguese friend of one of my friend, played a really cool bass on my original intro. 

Phil Anderson of Power Sound an amazing bass player and engineer, and it was amazing how he could stop the playing in the middle and have us continue where he would punch in the drums flawlessly. Carmine as an amazing drummer, and when the drums are playing everything , from cymbals, hi-hats etc...are ringing, so it's amazing how Phil would stop us in the middle of live playing and get us to start back a couple bars before and punch in everything, including the drums, and it was flawless. 

Barry Allen who is the owner of Homestead Studio and a very popular musician was the one that shown me how play the bass for 'A Kiss Goodnight' to go with the bass drum and to be in sync with the bass drums. When it comes to music, it's in the professional studios where you learn lots. There are many  amazing session players right here in Edmonton that I had the opportunity to work with, and I believe may just be some of the best in the world. My recordings in the professional studios were only done to a certain extent due to cost -- GOOD ENOUGH FOR ME, AS I'M AN INDEPENDENT ARTIST AND NOT A MAINSTREAM ARTIST. I always get backing tracks so I can use while we're still doing the sessions.The songs which I recorded at home, I played all of the instruments where I used the drums on my keyboard. 

A memorable experience

While I was doing the lead break for 'SoCrazy4u' at Beta Studios (Sound Recorders), my lead was not working out because I had practiced my lead part at home on an older backg track which I had created, although the chord progression was the same- and I was getting nervous and frustrated because it wasn't working out. I was already dead tired from working as a programmer all day - my brain already fried coding all day and it was very frustrated. It was like on a Wednesday night. The sound engineer (I believe his name is Jerry) was very patient with me, and had me built my lead break one piece at a time, where we recorded piece by piece, stopping the recording and starting a number of times, and it all worked out - JUST AN AMAZING ENGINEERING.

Note: The first song below, 'The Birds Won't come my way' is not the original recording from 1988. During the radio interview that's when the  I was told  by the host that the song was Protest song. I had no idea I was actually writing protest songs until I was told that's what I had done. 

I have been writing songs since around 13 or 14, and this is why all of my songs are unique.

SONGS COPYRIGHT PROTECTED

All of Fisal Ally's songs are copyright protected. Tracks were converted from cassette tapes to digital. The backing Tracks from the 1990s were used in Rain Go Away and some overdubs were done in March 2020, but the song is the same as the original.

ON SIMILARITIES TO MY SONGS WHICH BEGAN AROUND THE YEAR 2011, AND THEN TO MY TRILOGY NOVELS. BELOW ARE EXAMPLES OF WHAT LOOKS LIKE MY MUSIC ARE BEING SAMPLED TO CREATE SOME OF THE BIGGEST HITS IN TH WORLD

I am making all of these claims because anybody that understands songwriting and music will see the similarities.

1) A quick similarity is Disney's 'A Kiss Goodnight' which came out around the year 2017 while I was promoting my song 'A Kiss Goodnight'. Two lines in Disney's 'A Kiss Goodnight' is identical to two lines in my song, with the melody and lyrics being identical from what I see. In this case the melody is the music, when we speaking of Music & Lyrics'. I believe the lines are 'With a kiss Goodnight' and 'A kiss goodnight' which is used in Disney's song a number of times. I was never paid even a penny by Disney from what looks like sampling my song. IF YOU EXAMINE, 'A Kiss Goodnight' by Disney, you will clearly see that Disney's song was a very simple song, and that it looks like my song 'A Kiss Goodnight was sampled to gave it a catchy HOOK. You will find this in many songs that came out after 2015. I had told a story of why I wrote 'A Kiss Goodnight' and it looks like- and I believe that - Disney's story book was inspired by my real life story.

2) Around 2011 Lady Antebellum (now I think called Lady A), suddenly came out with a big hit song called 'Just A Kiss' which I read -when I was investigating the similarities - they wanted to call 'Just a kiss goodnight.' The main similarity is to my ending where they added the word 'with.'

3) Around 2017 while I was also promoting my song 'True Love', Bruno Mars came out with '24 Karat K' his intro is very similar to my intro of True love, except the lyrics are different and then the next line '24 Karat Magic in the air' is more or less the same lyrics and melody as the middle of True Love where my lyrics is 'It's like magic in the air'.

Even recently a song called 'Rain on me' have similarities to my song 'Rain Go Away.'

-There are countless others which all began around the year 2011, but lots more began in 2015, , and I was never ever paid a penny for my work, and I never signed a contract nor gave anybody permission to sample my songs, or to re-record my songs and to change my work.

I was also shock to see the similarities in movie(s) and TV shows suddenly coming out that were similar to my Trilogy novels called 'The Trilogy of Savitri's Garden' and through out the years I have made some of these claims in books and magazines with the exact passages, similarities etc..., and not once did the artists come forward to challenge me on the claims I've been making. I had made two complaints with a mainstream media and I was completely ignored. I want them to challenge what I have been claiming and take all of this into the mainstream news and public, instead of people harassing me to have me silenced and of course doing everything to destroy my life - they are good at it!. Just very good at it! And today we see the whole world is under destruction like we've never ever had in history before - HUMANITY AS WE KNOW IS OVER! The future for children will be a burden to them.  Our human nature is nder complete destruction with trans-humanism (where the future generations are being merged with machine - robots) while grown men play with their cell phones day and night - MOST PEOPLE ARE ASEEP TODAY AND CANNOT SEE THE GENOCIDE AND DESTRUCTION TAKING PLACE AND HOW CHILDREN'S AND MANY OTHER LIVES ARE BEING RUINED AND DESTROYED, BECAUSE THEY ARE TOO BUSY SPREADING HATE AGAINST PEOPLE LIKE MYSELF. THEY NEVER EVEN TOOK A SECOND TO THINK ABOUT WHAT THEY ARE INJECTING INTO THEIR BODIES. This destruction is all because of the average person, not standing up for humanity, attacking people like myself, and the few that are standing up are all under attack and lives are being ruined and destroyed...Fisal Ally...Updated April 9, 2022.

WRITING SONGS AND RECORDING WITH SOME AMAZING MUSICIANS AND STUDIOS IN THE 1990s

IT WAS 1988 or 1989 WHEN I WROTE THE SONG 'THE BIRDS WON'T COME MY WAY' AND ANOTHER SONG. AFTER HEARING THE TWO SONGS ON THE RADIO, I BECAME EVEN MORE MOTIVATED TO KEEP WRITING SONGS AND BEGAN RECORDING MY SONGS AT HOME ON ADAT MACHINES AND 4 TRACK RECORDERS where I played all the instruments. I THEN BEGAN ENTERING SOME PROFESSIONAL MUSIC STUDIOS. A friend from work, Rob Chizek, played saxophone on the instrumental version of Blue Caribbean Sea. Another friend, Roxana Avalos-Calderon played violin on A Kiss Goodnight. Some sesson players came into play on some of the tracks: Gary Koliger, Tim Lent, Phil Anderson, John Cooke, Carmine     

Caligiuri , Mark Puffer, Matt Robertsons, Tim Anderson. Songs and backing tracks were recorded at Beta, Powersound, Big Records, and in my home studio at the time called BackAlly Music Studio but now simply Ally Studios.
